Supporting RivingtonHark’s future growth with Greenstreet News Profile

We are proud to support RivingtonHark in marking its 25th anniversary and sharing its vision for the future.

01 April 2025

As the UK’s leading independent town and city centre regeneration specialist, RivingtonHark plays a crucial role in revitalising urban areas—delivering expert development, asset management, and strategic investment advice across a £1bn portfolio.

Since 2019, the company has achieved 50% growth in turnover and staff, expanded its local authority client base fivefold, and directly invested in assets. Its expertise spans a wide range of regeneration projects, from arenas and markets to homes, office hubs, cinemas, and public parks. With a unique 50/50 split between private and public sector work, it is known for unlocking value in complex urban assets—securing headleases, planning consents, and pioneering public-private partnerships. Impressively, it has never had a failed planning application in 25 years.

RivingtonHark has been instrumental in major regeneration projects across 23 UK towns and cities, investing over £500m since Covid. It is currently advising on over 1 million sq ft of regeneration and managing eight shopping centre assets across 13 towns and cities, including Newcastle, Fareham, and Southend. Recent appointments include leading regeneration projects in Merthyr Tydfil and Tunbridge Wells, covering 600,000 sq ft of shopping centre space, and joining an exclusive NHS Estates framework to help unlock value in public assets.

Looking ahead, RivingtonHark is focused on repurposing struggling shopping centres, driving strategic co-investment, and expanding its portfolio, as demonstrated by its work with Veld at St Johns in Liverpool. To support this growth, the company is moving to a new office in Covent Garden, expanding its team to 18, and launching a senior recruitment drive.

As part of this milestone, we worked with RivingtonHark’s leadership to secure a feature in Greenstreet News, using its anniversary to highlight past successes and reinforce its forward-looking strategy.
