To support our long-term client Pembroke with profiling its new RGNT building in the heart of Stockholm, this month we linked up with international business magazine, Forbes to profile the rise of luxury retail in the city.
Stockholm has established itself as a leading retail destination. Working with Pembroke and the Stockholm Business Region, we set about gathering data and insights to illustrate how strong consumer demand, sustainability, and a carefully curated mix of international and local brands combine to great effect to make Stockholm such a go-to luxury retail hotspot.
Armed with this information, we pitched a feature idea to our longstanding media contact and Forbes reporter, Mark Faithfull; offering him the chance to fly out to Stockholm and interview Pembroke and Stockholm Business Region about how the city has evolved as such a target destination for premium brands.
We accompanied Mark on the trip, introducing him to Stockholm Business Region CEO Staffan Ingvarsson and Kristin Willerström, Senior Regional Director Nordics at Pembroke. We toured Stockholm’s luxury retail neighbourhoods before taking a tour of RGNT to find out how it is helping to shape this new era of retail.
Following his visit, Mark produced an in-depth feature for Forbes looking at Stockholm’s luxury retail evolution and the role RGNT plays within it.
The recognition from Forbes reinforced the momentum behind Stockholm’s retail evolution and highlighted the opportunity for brands looking to establish a presence in one of Europe’s most dynamic urban markets.
A big thank you to Mark for coming to visit Stockholm, and to Kristin and Staffan for their insight on Stockholm, you can read Mark’s full article by visiting – https://www.forbes.com/sites/markfaithfull/2026/09/15/how-stockholm-created-a-quiet-luxury-retail-revolution/
