CASE STUDY

The Lexicon, Bracknell

The future of UK town centres increasingly relies on innovative and sustainable regeneration. The Lexicon in Bracknell exemplifies how strategic communications are integral to positive change in the built environment.

The Lexicon, a joint venture between Legal & General Capital and Schroders Capital UK Real Estate Fund, anchors the town centre’s regeneration by combining innovative retail and placemaking to boost both the local Bracknell economy.

As the retained communications partner, our role has been to position The Lexicon as the leading retail destination in the Thames Valley. We created a strategic narrative that aligns with community aspirations, the wider regeneration strategy, and expectations for the scheme’s future.

Our approach included a comprehensive communications plan that delivered a core narrative alongside tactical messages to shape positive public perceptions and maintain support during development, while creating excitement for the launch of the operational phase.

We continue to support The Lexicon through crisis communications, event planning, placemaking initiatives, and proactive media management which showcases the evolving retail and leisure line-up at the scheme.

This ongoing relationship is important. Together, we ensure that the original vision and community expectations are understood and represented, helping The Lexicon maintain a genuine place in the hearts and minds of the community.
