International Workplace Group debuts Humanly health and wellbeing workspace at Dockside Chatham Maritime.
Redwood is Dockside at Chatham Maritime’s retained PR and comms agency. We recently supported the announcement of International Workplace Group’s new Humanly concept at the destination, helping to raise awareness of the deal as part of ongoing comms around Dockside’s evolution into a vibrant mixed-use destination, home to retail, leisure, healthcare, and business amenities which serve the growing Medway Region.
Located at Dockside in Medway, Kent, Humanly provides flexible, treatment-ready practice spaces for medical, therapy, wellness, beauty and fitness professionals, helping practitioners work closer to the communities they serve.
Humanly forms part of IWG’s growing workspace platform, which includes brands such as Spaces and Regus. Introduced in 2026, the concept has been created to meet demand from healthcare and wellbeing professionals looking for professionally supported space without the upfront investment or long-term commitments of traditional premises.
The Dockside practice space includes private consultation suites, treatment rooms, therapy and physio spaces, and reception and waiting areas. It also provides specialist equipment, professional cleaning and maintenance, with optional services including reception, admin and call handling, as well as clinical waste and sharps removal.
Designed to balance clinical needs with comfort, the plug-and-play practice spaces are supported by dedicated on-site teams and cater to a broad mix of practitioners, from general medicine, specialist diagnostics and women’s health to therapies, coaching, dermatology, aesthetics, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, mobility, recovery, sports care and guided physical conditioning.
Humanly at Dockside is opening in three phases, with three practitioners already signed on. Two of the initial practitioners operate in the beauty and aesthetics sector, offering services including aesthetics, skincare and Botox. The third practitioner is expanding their existing practice, providing comprehensive diagnostics, education and consultancy relating to neurodevelopment and mental health conditions for children and young people.
For Dockside, Humanly marks the next stage in the scheme’s transition from a traditional retail-led offer into a wider multi-use destination. With more than 14,000 residents, over 12,000 students across four universities and a growing business community, the concept has been designed to support practitioners looking to establish a presence in a thriving local environment.
Redwood continues to work with Dockside to communicate this wider transformation, highlighting the growing mix of retail, leisure, healthcare and business uses that is reshaping the destination and strengthening its role in the Medway community. As part of this, Redwood helped Dockside secure a place on the REVO shortlist for Best Asset Management Initiative, recognising the work being undertaken to evolve the scheme and broaden its appeal.
