Redwood arranged a meeting between Evonite’s partner for strategy Jose Pellicer and Bloomberg’s Sinead Cruise to discuss the future of the UK office sector.
The conversation allowed Jose to contribute to Bloomberg’s Going Private newsletter and their focus on the recovery of the UK office sector as businesses began to ditch remote working.
Jose highlighted how there is incentive from both sides to return to the office with research suggesting that productivity is higher whilst in the office, while the probability of getting fired increased if you worked from home.
The article also looked at how quality office supply had collapsed across many UK regional cities since the pandemic, whilst a constrained development pipeline had supported re-letting prospects for existing offices.
