We worked with Global Holdings Management Group to showcase its letting to global footwear brand Dr Martens who selected 20 Whitfield Street as its new London HQ.

Acquired in 2023, Global Holdings Management Group undertook a refurbishment of the former Transport Police building near Tottenham Court Road which completed this year.

Designed by Hale Brown Architects and with Make One appointed as the contractor, the comprehensive refurbishment has included new facades, multiple terraces, cycle storage provision, first class commuter facilities, as well as an additional penthouse floor.

20 Whitfield Street has been designed to achieve high sustainability credentials and has secured a BREEAM excellent rating as well as EPC A certification and is specified and assessed as a 5-star NABERS rating. Meanwhile, design specialists Lore Studio were instructed to carry out the interior design elements for the building to ensure it delivers a premium, hospitality-led feel to occupiers.

The decision from Dr. Martens was driven by the leases for its two current London offices coming to expiry, and the desire to have all London-based office colleagues working collaboratively in one building.

Media coverage was secured across the UK and pan-European trade media.
